STAK was founded in 2026 in Hedemora, Sweden, by a former national team skier and two engineers. We started from a simple observation: there is no technical reason a racing pole should cost €400 — and no aesthetic reason it should look like a graphic explosion.
We sell direct from our own website with no retail layer. That's how we keep a T700-based racing pole under €140 without cutting the spec.
Every series gets an open product log: specification, tolerances, deviations. If something doesn't hold up — tell us. Support is handled by us, not an outsourced call center.

01Why 055 g/m swing weight?
It's the point where the T700/T800 lay-up holds up for both racing and everyday training. Pushing further down requires thinner walls and reduced structural integrity — we prioritise durability over the paper weight.
02How do I pick the right length?
General guide: 0.90 × body height for classic, 0.89 for skate. If torn between two: pick shorter if you are technique-oriented, longer if you are power-oriented. Full guide is published before delivery.
03Why does the pole cost €139?
We sell direct from our own website with no retail layer. No 40–50 % retail markup the way traditional sports shops operate — that margin goes back to the athlete.
04How large is Batch 001?
Batch 001 is a limited first series. The exact unit count is published before the batch opens for purchase. Pre-registered athletes get to buy first, before the public launch.
05What happens if the pole breaks under warranty?
One-year full warranty against material or manufacturing defects. Breakage from falls is not covered — but we offer replacement shafts at cost for Batch 001 owners.
06Can I swap grips and baskets myself?
Yes. Grip and basket are mechanical joints without glue. Swap takes under 30 seconds and requires no heat. Replacement parts are sold separately.
07Where are the poles manufactured?
The design and specification are Swedish. Manufacturing is done to the locked spec at a specialised composite partner. Every series is verified against a reference measurement before delivery.
08How are the poles packed and shipped?
Each pair ships in a 170 cm tube with reinforced end caps. No plastic bags, no marketing inserts. Shipping within the EU via PostNord Business, 2–5 days.
